However, there is evidence to suggest that coronavirus may remain viable for hours to days on surfaces made from a variety of materials.

- Wear disposable gloves.
- Wash hands with soap and water as soon as you remove the gloves.
- Do not shake dirty laundry.
- Launder items according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Washing in hot water (160 degrees) for at least 25 minutes and dry items completely,
