Beauty of ChiffonChiffon is one of the more popular fabrics used in the design of evening gowns, wedding gowns and lingerie. Because of its sheer and transparent look it creates an elegant and floating appearance.

Chiffon is made from real or synthetic silk and can be easily dyed. Due to if flexibility and ease of movement chiffon is frequently used for the outside layer many wedding gowns. When sewing with chiffon it is important to work slowly. Running it quickly through your machine can cause it to bunch. Ideally one should use tissue paper in between two pieces to hold the fabric together.

Once completed then simply tear the tissue away. Because if it’s delicate nature one should either hand wash or dry clean chiffon garments.
